Located on the southern hills of Semarang, this residence is an exploration of contemporary tropical architecture. The design is a deliberate response to the local climate, optimizing cross-ventilation and natural light.

The façade’s composition is a dialogue between textured massing, warm wood, and integrated vertical greenery. A massive cantilevered canopy creates a bold horizontal statement, sheltering the entryway below while protecting the large openings from the elements. This creates a residence with a rich spatial articulation that remains deeply connected to its natural context.
