Retail Interior Design
This interior design project for an optical store in the southern part of Yogyakarta aims to create a new and inclusive retail experience for the entire family. The design cleverly combines two different atmospheres within a single space: an elegant and luxurious main area for adult customers, and a soft and playful examination and play area for children.
In the main area, a sense of luxury is established through the use of materials like marble floors, terrazzo counters, and gold-colored accents. Meanwhile, the children’s area utilizes a pastel color palette, safe curved forms, and child-scaled furniture to create a comfortable atmosphere. The arch motif is used as the design’s common thread, visually unifying both zones.
The result is a retail space that is not only functional for optical needs but also provides a memorable experience for every customer segment.
